Positive Affirmations - Getting Anything and Everything You Want

Affirmations are our thoughts, inner dialog, and self-talk. We have a continuous stream of affirmations, sometimes we are not even aware of what we say to ourselves. Positive Affirmations are those that create positive energy, flow, behavior, and results in our life. Negative affirmations are the ones that hold us back and that attract failure and negatively. Negative affirmations need to be eliminated and replaced with patterns that are constructive.

Getting what you want can be as easy as acting and reacting as if you want it. Stop being in your own way, and allow the flow of your positive thoughts to create your reality. Determine what you want and consider what internally held beliefs are generating obstacles. Once you have done this you are able to consciously create positive affirmations that will replace the negative self-talk. Using Positive Affirmations consistently will keep you focused on your goals and remind you to be conscious of your inner dialog. As you become more proficient at positive affirmations, there will be no room for negative self-talk.

Get everything and anything you want and desire in life. The more you are able to chip away at long-held, erroneous, and deep-seated negative internal beliefs, the more you are able to allow the results of positive affirmations into your life. When every thought, word, and deed is focused on your goals, you will only have room to achieve what you most desire.

Allow your positive, worthy, and approachable persona to flourish and shine. That persona is you without the negative affirmations. Negative affirmations are just beliefs such as, "I can't", "I could never", "That would never happen", "there's no way", "that would be impossible", "I don't think I could", and you get the idea.

Nearly 90% of our thoughts are negative. Now you know why people do not achieve their goals. All that negative energy attracts the negative things we dread! Watch the movie entitled, "The Secret", for more detailed information on the Law of Attraction, and how people generally attract the things they dread the most into their lives. Things negative usually include bad relationships, poor health, poverty or debt, bad luck, lack of friendships, poor grades in school, car troubles - the list goes on and on!

Turn this around, and make your thoughts become 90% - 100% positive. Achieve your dreams! Achieve you goals! Live the life you've always dreamed of, but never believed would ever be possible for you. Just know that you have the power to change things. You can absolutely without a doubt live a life you never imagined possible - if you just change the way you think, and use affirmations to your benefit. It works every time - guaranteed.

Just When Is Enough, Enough?

by PD McCloud

This is a question we ask ourselves quite often though we never admit to it. After all, we all know the answer, but never seem to find a way to come to the decision that “enough is enough”! There’s always something that gets in the way of our planting our feet steadfastly and declaring “ENOUGH”!

It seems that there are many different reasons for our not being decisive, at times. We often look for reasons to keep on keeping on, to not give up the ship, to give it one more shot. And we end up doing just that – in all our desires to call it quits, we just don’t want to let go.

Why is this?

Our basic human instinct is to not only survive, but to also adapt. In the adaptation process over the years we have learned to be forgiving and in many cases we have become addicted to that which we know is not right for us. Some would say our failure to call it quits is a result of another basic human instinct – hope. Hope is the yearning for something not yet attained. For wealth, good health, happy times, and a multitude of other things. Could it be that this yearning keeps us from saying, “time to move on”?

I have watched, over the years, countless people try, time and time again to gain wealth on the internet. I’ve a seen a few actually do it. But sadly, the vast majority have found their hopes tattered and strained by a few unscrupulous operators. I call them operators because that is really what they are – they work steadfastly to surgically remove your money from your purses and wallets without fulfilling the promises of wealth and independence that they claimed would be yours, if only you invest into their program.

The sad fact of the matter is that the majority of programs out there are real, solid opportunities for people who are willing to work the system. By working the system, I mean that you must be willing to follow intructions and step out of your comfort zone. There are a great many of us who have problems with the leaving our comfort zones for realms unknown to us before now. It’s a scary thought – to put money that we earned using traditional methods into a system that until now was unknown to us.

We were promised easy money, quit your day-job, never work again, no sales involved, and the list goes on. Our minds tend to rebel against these notions as we were raised and trained to believe that hard work is the key to happiness and success. And, it is! But there are those who would have you beleive otherwise. In any endeavor, there is work involved. Do you really think that the residual income you were promised you’d have would come just because you are giving someone a monthly payment?

Getting back to the theme of this post, when in enough, enough? Do you continue to believe that you can find happiness on the internet? Or, have you had enough of the broken promises, thoughtless claims and decieitful tactics?

Enough is enough is about your taking control of your situation – and doing what you need to do to acheive your goal(s). Take the positive step now to formulate your own future. Yes, you’ll have to work a bit. Yes, you may even be asked to leave your comfort zone. But no, you will not be asked for any “up front” investment to get started. Someone will be there every step of the way – me. I make it a point to work with my people up close and personal. Sometimes it will be one on one, other times it will be as a group. Step by step, we’ll work together to achieve the goals you have set for yourself . . . one step at a time.

Setting Goals, Achieving Goals and You

Posted May 11th, 2008 in Goals-Affirmations, Personal-Development by admin

Setting goals and more importantly achieving goals is much easier than everyone seems to think. So many people have such a negative outlook on themselves and what they are capable of, that they just see reaching a goal as an impossible feat of luck. Here is the first thing you should know, luck has nothing to do with it. Those who reach their goals on a regular basis do so because of their hard work and intense focus on their end objective or the goal itself.

Everyone from world class athletes to high powered businessmen and women have at one time set goals to achieve the status they now have. Typically, the goals they set are long term, which often includes furthering their education and working their way up through the ranks to finally reach the position that they want. Which leads me to my next point, there are two types of goals - long term goals and short term goals.

Short term goals

These are an integral part of everyone's life and an important first step towards believing in the power of goal setting. Short term goals give you an almost immediate satisfaction, of course depending on the how short term it is. For example, let's say you set a goal that you're going to study real hard and pass your big exam next week. That is a short term goal that is easily obtainable, a week from now you will realize that you can achieve goals that you set and thus believe in the power of your long term goals.

Long term goals

These are the big ones! Long term goals often include major life changes that you have set out far enough to be realistically achievable. Goals like quitting smoking, finishing college, buying your first home or owning your own company are perfect examples. Long term goals require dedication and patience, but are best used with short term goals. Setting little goals along the way that directly relate to your long term goal will allow you to see real progress towards the larger goal.

The basics of setting goals

If you take the time to set clear goals, both short term and long term, you will be able to see and measure your progress as you successfully complete each goal throughout life. Charting your progress will also enable you to actually see the stages of completion leading to the actual realization of your goals. This eliminates the feeling of a long and pointless grind towards achieving your goal. Your self-confidence and level of competence will also improve as you will be more aware of your capabilities as you complete or achieve your goals.

You will soon find that the basics of goal setting will directly relate to your life and what you intend to do with it. You will begin to take notice of the clear path that lies ahead in an otherwise difficult journey. Once you embrace your goals as integral steps through life, life will become easier you will become more defined as a person.

Advice for Setting and Achieving Your Goals

First and foremost, you have to take your goals seriously! Your attitude will play an important part in not only meeting your goals, but your eventual success or failure. The only person in this entire world that can hold you back from achieving anything in life, is you. You can be your own greatest accomplishment or worst enemy, and you have to make that decision for yourself.

Allowing yourself to see the possibility in anything you set out to do, will move you forward to where you want to be. If you remember nothing else in this article, remember that it is so much easier to doubt your abilities but so much more rewarding to believe in them.
