I am a parent of teenager. Recent my son came home and told me that he is going to work. I was excited. He is only 16. As for me this age is not suitable to start working. Moreover, you have to bother about the fact that majority of teens are looking for some jobs that would bring them good pocket funds.
It is evident that money, teens able to gain going to the work is the first reason that make them working. The other reason, why my son made up his mind to start working activity was the fact that majority his classmates are working and have their own stuff. To be honest, I did not know how I could react on the definite event as well.
We were discussing this question on the family meeting and make up the following decision. As our family is not poor one, and we do not need child help to make money, we allow our son to go for a work. But the aim of this was absolutely different. We wanted him understand what the job means and how should he treat it. As the matter of fact, we started observing all available way to make money for teens. TO be honest, I wondered so much with the fact that there are great deals of different ways to make money for teens that exists in the modern society.
It turns out to be a problem for us to find good job for our son. As the parent of teen, you should know that underage of critically maximizing character. That is why you should not resist his/her working even if you do not want him/her to do that. As the matter of the fact, teens start revolting, and you would able do nothing to stop them going to the work. Here, we want underline importance of supporting. If you find that your teen is not ready for office assistant job, or this is not his/ her cap of tea, you should consult and support your child whatever he/she does.
In the other words, you teen should understand himself that this kind of job is not for him/her and start looking a new one. It is possible when teens resist dealing with the working as well, if they do not like the job they start dealing with. It is greatly important to prove the underage that you would support and understand him all the time. Remember, such approach would make you child trust you and consult with each question that ever bother him/her. We hope this information would be of great value for you for you.
